Special suction hoods and for smelters

Special hoods are normally installed for smelters as different types of casting require special capturing system configurations.
High temperatures of sucked up flow require the use of special materials for building hoods, such as Iron, Corten, AISI 304/316/310 Steel and in some cases even refractory coating and/or ceramic mat.
Inside they may be completed with deflectors and/or systems for homogeneous aspiration distribution along the entire suction section.
Fixed, mobile, toggled, hinged are some types used for the casting industry.
