Details

Artistic, economical and practical, the Tracer AN series controller boasts an innovative common-minus design, an advanced MPP control algorithm and an LCD screen showing the current status. Tracer AN can minimize current loss and time loss, track the maximum power point of the PV panel and get the maximum energy from the solar modules under all conditions. It can also increase the efficiency in solar system by 10%-30% compared to PWM charging method.

The main function of the MPPT is to monitor and optimize the power supplied by the photovoltaic panel, making it operate at its maximum power point. The MPPT checks the voltage output from the PV module, compares it to the battery voltage, and adjusts the module voltage so that it is almost equal to the battery voltage. The controller converts the remaining voltage into charging current and adds it to the panel's standard charging current.
