Multi-turn actuator AUMA NORM SA 25.1

In multi-turn drives, the motor is controlled — on and off — by external control by means of reversing contactors (thyristor control — option).
The position of the working body — the armature — can be informed to the external process controller. The presence of an electronic transmitter for the position — RWG (option) in the electric drive provides a standardized analog signal (most often 4-20 mA) indicating the movement of the armature. This signal can be available in the controller as a value showing the actual position of the valve at any given time or for indication during remote control.

SA series electric actuators for open shutter and positioning operation are classified for Class A and B or S2 - 15 min run time. A special longer stroke version is available for S2 - 30 min run time. Control actuators in the SAR range are classified for class C or input duty S4 - 25%. Special versions are also available for S4 - 50% and S5 - 25%. SA / SAR actuators can be combined with various control units - from a simple open-closed position to a micro-controlled version with operational data logging.
