We launched a project to build a 150 kWp power plant for a machine-building enterprise

ATAMIQ is working on a project to build a photovoltaic plant for a machine-building enterprise with a capacity of 150 kWp.

Our engineering team has been involved in the project from its very beginning, by analyzing the existing state of the plant, the available installed technological equipment and its electrical consumption, depending on the production processes. An analysis of advantages and disadvantages has been prepared comparing different technologies, types of solar panels, inverters and construction. Through simulation software modules, various options were offered to the investor from which to choose the optimal solution for him. The report includes the values of the produced electrical energy by month and by year, incl. specific yield [kWh/kWp] and average conversion efficiency [%] and in summary the technology with the highest specific performance is indicated.

The installation is planned to be installed on a roof surface located on an area of 4000m2. Equipment is planned for storing excess electricity, which will be used in cases when the installation is not in optimal operation mode (reduced solar radiation due to deteriorated atmospheric conditions – short daylight hours in winter, cloud cover, dust or increased consumption)

The commercial team of ATAMIQ prepared a proposal according to the options discussed, which includes:

  1. Delivery and installation of photovoltaic panels with a power of 495 kWp – 300 pieces
  2. Delivery and installation of solar inverters 50 kW – 3 pieces
  3. Delivery and installation of a metal structure, with tightening
  4. Design, manufacture and installation of an electrical panel providing installation
  5. System for continuous monitoring of energy production and energy consumption, in real time.

Total installed power amounts to a value of Pdc= 148,500 kWp, and maximum inverter power Pac= 150 Kw.

The photovoltaic plant will provide solar energy production for the company’s own needs. The expected return on the investment is 7 years, and the warranty period of the installed technological equipment is 25 years.
After the construction of the power plant, 72 hourly samples of the plant are planned.
The project also provides for an option to sell the excess produced energy, in case it is generated.

According to the plan, the Solar power plant is expected to be put into operation in the month of NOVEMBER 2022.
