Variable throat Venturi scrubber

Variable throat Venturi scrubbers are a special type of wet reducer applied for the treatment of humid flows containing very fine dust particles.
The consist of a venturi containing a mobile ogive with motorised drive for the reduction of the air passage section, resulting in high performance abatement.
A circular hydraulic ring sends "washing water" to the upper part of the ogive and to the central part, for correct flow distribution.
In cascade from the venturi, a cylindrical tower with tangential entry is installed for the decantation of liquid particles, thanks to centrifugal force.
